The service

GEONARY is operated under the SPECTRA DATA name. Contact info@spectradata.net with questions about these terms or the service.

You can browse the Atlas and country profiles without an account. Accounts provide saved progress and additional learning features. Current access is free. These terms do not authorise any payment or subscription.

Your account and learning progress

Use an email address you control, keep sign-in links and codes private, and choose a profile that does not impersonate someone else or contain unlawful or abusive content. Tell us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Quiz points become XP only when a complete result is accepted. Unfinished runs are discarded. Daily activities have completion limits, and rewards depend on the rules described in How to play. XP, badges, ranks and stamps have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money.

We may correct demonstrably invalid or duplicate awards. If you believe a result is wrong, contact us with the details so it can be reviewed.

Use GEONARY fairly

Do not attempt to access another person's account, bypass security or scoring checks, manipulate results, distribute malicious software or disrupt the service. Automated access must not interfere with normal use or bypass access restrictions.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks or unlawful use. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and give you a way to contact us for review.

Sharing and reusing content

You are welcome to share links to GEONARY and use its built-in sharing and download features. Keep source credits, dates and notices attached to downloaded material, and do not present altered material as an official GEONARY publication.

Underlying datasets, flags, map geometry and other third-party material retain their own licences and attribution requirements. Access through GEONARY does not grant rights that the original provider has not granted. Check the linked source before republishing data or using it commercially.

GEONARY's original design, branding, illustrations and written content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. For uses beyond permissions provided by the relevant licence or the law, contact us. These terms do not limit statutory exceptions to copyright.

Understand the limits of the data

GEONARY is for learning and general exploration. Figures may be rounded, revised, missing or drawn from different reporting periods. Maps are simplified, and geographic inclusion does not express a position on sovereignty or disputed borders. Read Sources & methodology for more context.

Check the original source before relying on a figure for an important decision. The Atlas and its terrain imagery are not navigation or surveying tools. We work to correct errors, but cannot promise that every item is complete, current or error-free.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes your mandatory consumer or other statutory rights.

Changes, availability and leaving

We may update datasets, questions and features, or interrupt access for maintenance and security. We will explain material changes to these terms and provide notice where required. A future paid service would have separate, clearly presented pricing and terms.

You can stop using GEONARY at any time. To request account deletion, email info@spectradata.net. Our Privacy Notice explains how account information, browser storage and deletion requests are handled.
